OPEN REHEARSALS
We invite you to witness our unique “musical democracy” in action at select open rehearsals throughout the season.
New Century operates unlike most other orchestras by virtue of its conductorless format. Our Musicians and Music Director communicate throughout the rehearsal process, to confirm details from the score, establish visual cues, and align the overall interpretation of the piece. As you can imagine, the process gets quite lively!
Admission is free of charge; please just RSVP to tickets@ncco.org to get on the door list.
Please remember that these are working rehearsals and accordingly, you may not hear all of the listed works on a program, see the advertised guest artists, nor hear complete performances of any given work. But you will certainly get a vibrant impression of how our organization works behind the scenes. We look forward to seeing you there!
